أثارت الفنانة المصرية إلهام شاهين حالة من الجدل بتعليقها على حديث الفنان المصري أحمد الفيشاوي عن رغبته في التوبة، مؤكدة أن الفن بالنسبة إليها لا يرتبط بالندم أو التوبة، بل يمثل مصدر فخر لها، وذلك خلال ندوتها ضمن فعاليات مهرجان الغردقة لسينما الشباب.
وقالت إلهام شاهين: «الفن لا يستحق التوبة، ده فخر»، قبل أن تتطرق إلى الحالة النفسية التي يمر بها الفيشاوي عقب وفاة والدته الفنانة سمية الألفي، مؤكدة أن فقدان الأم قد يترك أثراً قاسياً على الإنسان.
إلهام شاهين تدعم أحمد الفيشاوي
وأوضحت إلهام أنها تتفهم الحالة التي يعيشها الفيشاوي، مستندة إلى تجربتها الشخصية عقب وفاة والدتها، إذ ابتعدت حينها عن الفن والناس ولم تكن قادرة على ممارسة حياتها بشكل طبيعي.
وأضافت: «أحمد الفيشاوي ليه حق يدخل في مرحلة اكتئاب بعد وفاة والدته، أنا وقت وفاة أمي بعدت عن الفن والناس وكنت لا أصلح لشيء، وفضلت قافلة على نفسي، فلازم كلنا ندعيله، وهو فنان عظيم».
الرغبة في التوبة
وكان أشعل الفيشاوي جدلاً واسعاً خلال الأيام الماضية، بعد حديثه عن رغبته في التوبة وإجراء تغييرات في حياته، قائلاً في تصريحات تلفزيونية: «أحب أتوب، ويا ريت الناس تدعيلي بالتوبة، وبقول لربنا: توب عليا يا رب، وبحاول أحترم سني وأهدى عن زمان».
أعمال فنية تجمعها
وعلى جانب آخر، يجمع فيلم «حين يكتب الحب» بين إلهام شاهين وأحمد الفيشاوي، في تجربة سينمائية تنتمي إلى الدراما الاجتماعية الرومانسية، ويشاركهما البطولة معتصم النهار، في أولى تجاربه بالسينما المصرية، إلى جانب سوسن بدر وجميلة عوض وشيري عادل ومحسن محيي الدين وعدد من الفنانين.
ويضم العمل أيضاً السورية سارة بركة، وإلهام صفي الدين، ونانسي صلاح، وشريف حافظ، وهو من تأليف سجى محمد وإخراج محمد هاني.
The Egyptian artist Elham Shahin sparked a controversy with her comments on Egyptian artist Ahmed El Fishawy’s desire for repentance, asserting that art for her is not associated with regret or repentance, but rather represents a source of pride, during her seminar at the Hurghada Youth Cinema Festival.
Elham Shahin said: “Art does not deserve repentance; it is a source of pride,” before addressing the psychological state that El Fishawy is going through following the death of his mother, the artist Somaya El Alfy, emphasizing that losing a mother can leave a harsh impact on a person.
Elham Shahin Supports Ahmed El Fishawy
Elham explained that she understands the situation El Fishawy is experiencing, drawing from her personal experience after her mother’s death, during which she distanced herself from art and people and was unable to live her life normally.
She added: “Ahmed El Fishawy has the right to enter a state of depression after his mother’s death; when my mother passed away, I distanced myself from art and people and was not fit for anything, and I preferred to isolate myself, so we all need to pray for him, and he is a great artist.”
The Desire for Repentance
El Fishawy ignited widespread controversy in recent days after speaking about his desire for repentance and making changes in his life, stating in television interviews: “I want to repent, and I wish people would pray for my repentance, and I say to God: Repent on me, O Lord, and I am trying to respect my age and calm down from the past.”
Artistic Works Together
On another note, the film “When Love is Written” brings together Elham Shahin and Ahmed El Fishawy in a cinematic experience belonging to the romantic social drama genre, co-starring Moustafa El Nahhar in his first experience in Egyptian cinema, alongside Sawsan Badr, Jamila Awad, Sheri Adel, Mohsen Mohi El Din, and several other artists.
The work also includes Syrian Sara Baraka, Elham Safi El Din, Nancy Salah, and Sherif Hafez, and is written by Saja Mohamed and directed by Mohamed Hani.
