أكد مدرب المنتخب البحريني لكرة القدم دراغان تالاييتش جاهزية فريقه لمواجهة نظيره القطري غداً، على ملعب مدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية بجدة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الأولى للمجموعة الثانية من بطولة “خليجي 27″، مشيراً إلى أن المنتخب يسعى إلى بدء مشواره في البطولة بقوة وتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية.
وأوضح تالاييتش، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقد اليوم، أن بطولة كأس الخليج تمثل أهمية كبيرة للمنتخبات الخليجية، واصفاً إياها بـ”كأس العالم للخليجيين”، ومبيناً أن النسخة الماضية كانت صعبة، وأن المنتخب البحريني استعد جيداً لهذه المشاركة، مؤكداً احترامه لجميع المنتخبات المشاركة.
وعن مواجهة المنتخب القطري، أكد أن المنافس قدم أداءً مميزاً في كأس العالم، ويتمتع بمستوى قوي، مشيراً إلى أن المنتخب البحريني يحتاج إلى تقديم أكثر من إمكاناته لتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية في المباراة.
وبيّن أن الأجواء والرطوبة ستكون متشابهة على المنتخبين، ولن تمثل عائقاً أمام لاعبيه، لافتاً الانتباه إلى أن المنتخب البحريني سبق أن حقق الفوز على أستراليا، رغم عدم خوضه مباريات في الدوري قبل البطولة.
وأكد تالاييتش أن الضغوط المصاحبة للبطولة أمر طبيعي، مبيناً أن المنتخب يمثل البحرين وشعبها، وأن الجميع يعمل بروح واحدة، مشدداً على أن البطولة ستكون صعبة في ظل مشاركة ثلاثة منتخبات سبق لها خوض منافسات كأس العالم.
من جانبه، أكد لاعب المنتخب البحريني سيد ضياء سعيد استعداد اللاعبين لخوض منافسات البطولة، مشيراً إلى رغبتهم في بدء مشوارهم بقوة، وأن الأجواء والرطوبة ستكون متشابهة على المنتخبين ولن تشكل عائقاً أمامهم.
The coach of the Bahraini national football team, Dragan Talajic, confirmed his team’s readiness to face their Qatari counterpart tomorrow at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City in Jeddah, as part of the first round of Group B in the “Gulf 27” championship, noting that the team aims to start its journey in the tournament strongly and achieve a positive result.
Talajic explained during the press conference held today that the Gulf Cup is of great importance to the Gulf teams, describing it as the “World Cup for Gulf nations,” and indicating that the last edition was challenging, and that the Bahraini team has prepared well for this participation, affirming his respect for all the participating teams.
Regarding the match against the Qatari team, he confirmed that the opponent has performed exceptionally in the World Cup and possesses a strong level, pointing out that the Bahraini team needs to deliver more than its capabilities to achieve a positive result in the match.
He indicated that the atmosphere and humidity will be similar for both teams and will not pose an obstacle for his players, drawing attention to the fact that the Bahraini team has previously won against Australia, despite not having played matches in the league before the tournament.
Talajic affirmed that the pressures accompanying the tournament are natural, indicating that the team represents Bahrain and its people, and that everyone is working with a unified spirit, stressing that the tournament will be challenging given the participation of three teams that have previously competed in the World Cup.
For his part, Bahraini national team player Sayed Diaa Saeed confirmed the players’ readiness to compete in the tournament, noting their desire to start their journey strongly, and that the atmosphere and humidity will be similar for both teams and will not pose an obstacle for them.
