رد مدرب الأهلي الهولندي مارينو بوسيتش على سؤال «عكاظ» بشأن تذبذب مستوى الفريق خلال المباريات الماضية، مؤكداً أن الأهلي يعيش مرحلة تحول فني، وأن تطبيق أسلوب لعب مختلف يحتاج إلى الوقت للوصول بالفريق إلى أفضل مستوياته.
وقال بوسيتش خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق مواجهة باختاكور الأوزبكي في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة: «الفريق يمر بمرحلة انتقالية، ونحن نلعب بطريقة مختلفة، وهذا الأمر يحتاج إلى وقت كافٍ للوصول إلى أفضل نتيجة ممكنة، ونحاول أن نقدم أفضل أداء لدينا».
وأضاف: «أكملت تقريباً شهراً مع النادي، ونلعب الآن بشكل مختلف، ومن وجهة نظري كرة القدم يجب أن تُلعب بأسلوب هجومي، مع احترامي لجميع الأساليب الأخرى. نحن نمر بفترة تحول، وأتفهم وجهة نظر الجمهور وعاطفته، وأتمنى منهم الدعم والانتظار».
وأشار بوسيتش إلى أن ضغط المباريات وضيق الجدول أثرا في حجم العمل الذي يستطيع الجهاز الفني تنفيذه، قائلاً: «أملك الكثير من الشغف، لكن ضيق الجدول لم يسمح لنا بخوض الكثير من التدريبات، وأنا أؤمن بأن كرة القدم تُلعب من أجل الجمهور».
وعن مواجهة باختاكور، أكد مدرب الأهلي صعوبة اللقاء، وقال: «دائماً مباريات من هذا النوع يكون فيها الكثير من الحماس، وسنواجه منافساً قوياً يمتلك جودة كبيرة، لكننا نلعب على أرضنا وأمام جماهيرنا، وسنحاول تحضير الفريق بشكل جيد».
وتابع: «باختاكور فريق كبير ومن الفرق المميزة في بلده، وسنعمل على تحقيق تطلعات جماهيرنا، وبالنسبة لي أفضل خوض المباريات على إجراء التدريبات بشكل يومي».
وشدد بوسيتش على أن الأهلي يدخل البطولة القارية تحت ضغط الدفاع عن لقبه، مضيفاً: «عندما تكون حامل اللقب، فأنت مطالب بتقديم أداء مبهر وتنافسية عالية».
ووجه المدرب الهولندي رسالة إلى جماهير الأهلي، قائلاً: «لمست شغف وحب الجمهور، وأشكرهم على الدعم والمساندة. دعونا نتقدم معاً، وأشكر جميع منسوبي النادي، ومن أجل شعار الأهلي سنمضي معاً عبر الزمن، وسأحاول التحسن باستمرار من أجل الفريق والكيان ككل».
وفي جانب آخر، وجهت «عكاظ» سؤالاً إلى البرتغالي فرانسيسكو ترينكاو بشأن مواجهة باختاكور والمباراة التالية السبت، ليجيب: «أعد جماهير الأهلي بالعطاء الدائم ومساعدة الفريق، هذا إذا لعبت طبعاً»، ليتدخل بوسيتش مازحاً بقوله: «إذا لعبت».
وأضاف ترينكاو: «نتمنى أن نقدم مستوى جيداً في المباراة ونساعد الفريق. وبالنسبة إلى المركز المفضل، فأنا أرغب فقط في اللعب ومساندة الفريق، ولا أحبذ التقيد بالنمط التقليدي، ومع أسلوب المدرب والاستحواذ نصنع الكثير من الفرص في المباريات، ونتمنى مواصلة ذلك».
واختتم النجم البرتغالي حديثه بالتأكيد على ارتياحه داخل الأهلي، قائلاً: «أنا منسجم مع الفريق وسعيد بوجودي هنا».
The Dutch coach of Al-Ahli, Marino Pusic, responded to a question from “Okaz” regarding the team’s fluctuating performance during recent matches, confirming that Al-Ahli is undergoing a technical transformation and that implementing a different style of play requires time to bring the team to its best levels.
During the press conference preceding the match against Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor in the AFC Champions League, Pusic said: “The team is going through a transitional phase, and we are playing in a different way, which requires sufficient time to achieve the best possible results. We are trying to deliver our best performance.”
He added: “I have been with the club for almost a month now, and we are playing differently. In my opinion, football should be played in an attacking style, with all due respect to other styles. We are going through a transformation period, and I understand the fans’ perspective and emotions, and I hope for their support and patience.”
Pusic pointed out that the pressure of matches and a tight schedule have affected the amount of work the coaching staff can implement, saying: “I have a lot of passion, but the tight schedule has not allowed us to conduct many training sessions, and I believe that football is played for the fans.”
Regarding the match against Pakhtakor, the Al-Ahli coach confirmed the difficulty of the encounter, stating: “Matches of this kind always have a lot of excitement, and we will face a strong opponent with great quality, but we are playing at home and in front of our fans, and we will try to prepare the team well.”
He continued: “Pakhtakor is a big team and one of the distinguished teams in its country, and we will work to meet the aspirations of our fans. For me, I prefer playing matches over conducting daily training sessions.”
Pusic emphasized that Al-Ahli enters the continental tournament under the pressure of defending its title, adding: “When you are the defending champion, you are required to deliver an impressive performance and high competitiveness.”
The Dutch coach sent a message to Al-Ahli’s fans, saying: “I have felt the passion and love of the fans, and I thank them for their support and assistance. Let us move forward together, and I thank all the club’s staff. For the sake of the Al-Ahli emblem, we will continue together through time, and I will strive to improve continuously for the team and the entity as a whole.”
In another aspect, “Okaz” posed a question to the Portuguese Francisco Trincão regarding the match against Pakhtakor and the following match on Saturday, to which he replied: “I promise Al-Ahli’s fans to always give my best and help the team, that is if I play, of course,” prompting Pusic to jokingly interject: “If you play.”
Trincão added: “We hope to deliver a good performance in the match and assist the team. As for my preferred position, I just want to play and support the team, and I do not prefer to be confined to a traditional role. With the coach’s style and possession, we create many opportunities in matches, and we hope to continue doing that.”
The Portuguese star concluded his remarks by affirming his comfort within Al-Ahli, saying: “I feel in harmony with the team and am happy to be here.”
