أكد قائد نادي الخلود هتان باهبري، على جاهزية فريقه التامة لخوض نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، مشيراً إلى أن طموحات الفريق لا تتوقف عند مجرد الوصول للنهائي، بل تتعدى ذلك إلى الرغبة الحقيقية في انتزاع اللقب.
وصرح باهبري خلال المؤتمر الصحفي للمباراة، بأن مواجهة فريقه السابق “الهلال” تحمل طابعاً خاصاً، لكنه شدد على الاحترافية الكاملة قائلاً: «عندما ندخل أرضية الملعب، سننسى كل العواطف. تفكيري منصب بالكامل على كيفية الحصول على هذا الذهب الغالي وتقديمه لنادي الخلود».
ووجه باهبري رسالة قوية لزملائه في الفريق لكسر حاجز الرهبة أمام بطل قوي كالهلال، موضحاً: «رسالتي للاعبين هي أن ننسى أننا نلعب ضد فريق كبير مثل الهلال؛ نحن 11 رجلاً ضد 11 رجلاً في الملعب. من يتعب ويعطي كل ما لديه هو من سيحصد الكأس، وبإذن الله تكون من نصيبنا».
وفيما يخص طموحاته مع الأخضر السعودي، أعرب باهبري عن أمله في العودة لتمثيل المنتخب، مؤكداً: «تمثيل المنتخب هو حلم أي لاعب.. شاركت في بطولتي كأس عالم سابقاً، وأطمح أن تكون هذه هي الثالثة لي، وسأبذل كل جهدي لتحقيق ذلك».
The captain of Al-Khulood Club, Hattan Bahbari, confirmed his team’s complete readiness to compete in the final of the King’s Cup, pointing out that the team’s ambitions do not stop at merely reaching the final, but go beyond that to a genuine desire to seize the title.
Bahbari stated during the press conference for the match that facing his former team “Al-Hilal” has a special significance, but he emphasized full professionalism, saying: “When we step onto the pitch, we will forget all emotions. My focus is entirely on how to obtain this precious gold and present it to Al-Khulood Club.”
Bahbari sent a strong message to his teammates to break the barrier of fear against a strong champion like Al-Hilal, explaining: “My message to the players is to forget that we are playing against a big team like Al-Hilal; we are 11 men against 11 men on the field. Those who tire and give their all will be the ones to lift the cup, and God willing, it will be ours.”
Regarding his ambitions with the Saudi national team, Bahbari expressed his hope to return to represent the national team, affirming: “Representing the national team is a dream for any player… I participated in two World Cups previously, and I aspire for this to be my third, and I will do my utmost to achieve that.”
