بدأت قصة نيفيز مع ركلات الجزاء بقميص الهلال بصورة شبه مثالية، ففي موسم 2023-24 نفذ أربع ركلات في مختلف المسابقات سجلها جميعًا، بينها ركلة أمام العين الإماراتي في نصف نهائي دوري أبطال آسيا، إلى جانب أهدافه من العلامة في دوري روشن وكأس الملك.
وتعرض سجله لأول خدش في الموسم التالي، إذ نفذ 3 ركلات خلال 2024-25، سجل اثنتين وأهدر واحدة، بينما كان أبرز أهدافه من العلامة في ذلك الموسم أمام ريال مدريد خلال كأس العالم للأندية، عندما سجل هدف التعادل في المباراة التي انتهت 1-1.

بداية الموسم
لم يحتج نيفيز إلى وقت طويل لإظهار عادته المفضلة هذا الموسم، ففي الجولة الافتتاحية أمام الفيصلي سجل ركلتي جزاء في فوز الهلال 4-2، الأولى عند الدقيقة 28 والثانية في الدقيقة 82، وحصل بعدها على جائزة رجل المباراة.
ثم جاءت ركلة الشباب لتكون الرابعة التي يسجلها نيفيز مع الهلال السعودي من أربع محاولات هذا الموسم، والثالثة في دوري روشن تحديدًا، ما يعني أنه لم يهدر حتى الآن أي ركلة منذ انطلاق موسم 2026-27.
ولم تأت هذه الفاعلية بمعزل عن المستوى العام للاعب؛ فقد اختار دوري روشن نيفيز أفضل لاعب في شهر أغسطس بعد مساهمته في أربعة أهداف خلال أربع جولات، بتسجيل هدفين وصناعة مثلهما، بينما تجاوز ربع أهداف الهلال خلال تلك الفترة عبر تسجيله أو صناعته.
