توصل أرسنال إلى اتفاق مع مدربه الإسباني ميكيل أرتيتا لتجديد عقده، بعد إنجازه بقيادة الفريق لتحقيق لقب الدوري الإنجليزي الموسم الماضي، عقب غياب طويل عن التتويج.
وبحسب شبكة «بي بي سي» البريطانية، وافق ميكيل أرتيتا على عقد جديد مُحسّن مع أرسنال، إذ ينتهي عقده الحالي بنهاية هذا الموسم، لكن المفاوضات بشأن العقد الجديد مستمرة منذ عدة أشهر.
وأضافت الشبكة أنه لم يتم تأكيد مدة العقد الجديد، لكن من المقرر أن يستمر أرتيتا لمدة 10 سنوات على الأقل مع النادي، بعد وصوله في ديسمبر 2019.
زيادة كبيرة في الراتب
وسيشمل العقد الجديد أيضاً زيادة كبيرة في راتبه، مقارنة براتبه الحالي البالغ 10 ملايين جنيه إسترليني سنوياً، إضافة إلى 5 ملايين جنيه إسترليني إضافية كحوافز.
أرتيتا سعيد في أرسنال
وفي حديثه عن مفاوضات تجديد عقده، قال أرتيتا الأسبوع الماضي: «لا داعي لقلق الجماهير، أنا سعيد للغاية وأشعر بامتنان كبير للعمل مع الأشخاص الذين أعمل معهم».

According to the British network “BBC,” Mikel Arteta has agreed to a new improved contract with Arsenal, as his current contract ends at the end of this season, but negotiations regarding the new contract have been ongoing for several months.
The network added that the duration of the new contract has not been confirmed, but Arteta is expected to stay for at least 10 years with the club, after arriving in December 2019.
Significant salary increase
The new contract will also include a significant increase in his salary, compared to his current salary of £10 million per year, plus an additional £5 million in bonuses.

Speaking about the negotiations for his contract renewal, Arteta said last week: “There is no need for fans to worry, I am very happy and feel a great sense of gratitude to work with the people I work with.”
