بين الصداقة والمزاح، اختار النجم الأمريكي براد بيت طريقة غير تقليدية لتهنئة صديقه وزميله جورج كلوني، خلال احتفاء مهرجان البندقية السينمائي الدولي بمنحه جائزة الأسد الذهبي للإنجاز مدى الحياة.
وقرأت الممثلة لورا ديرن رسالة بيت أمام جمهور المهرجان، التي حملت في بدايتها إشادة بموهبة كلوني ومسيرته الفنية وشخصيته، قبل أن تتحول إلى مزحة ساخرة بشأن مهاراته في الرقص.
وأشاد بيت بقدرة كلوني على تجسيد مختلف الأدوار وتحقيق الإنجازات والتفوق في العديد من المجالات، لكنه سرعان ما انتقل إلى الجانب الطريف من الرسالة، قائلاً: «من فضلكم، أبعدوه عن حلبة الرقص»، قبل أن يصفه في ختام كلمته بأنه «راقص سيئ للغاية».
ولم تخلُ الرسالة من جانب أكثر جدية، إذ وصف بيت كلوني بالصديق الذي يمكن الاعتماد عليه في الأوقات الصعبة، مشيداً بأدواره كأب وزوج، وبحضوره كشخصية عالمية ومدافع عن قضايا العدالة، إلى جانب وصفه بروح الدعابة وحبه للمقالب وحرصه على فعل الخير.
ويأتي هذا التكريم في وقت تتزايد فيه التكهنات حول إمكانية عودة بيت وكلوني للعمل معاً في الجزء الرابع من سلسلة أفلام Ocean’s، وسط ترقب لما إذا كان المشروع سيدخل مرحلة الإنتاج خلال الفترة القادمة.
Between friendship and humor, American star Brad Pitt chose an unconventional way to congratulate his friend and colleague George Clooney during the Venice International Film Festival’s celebration of him receiving the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement.
Actress Laura Dern read Pitt’s message in front of the festival audience, which began with praise for Clooney’s talent, artistic career, and personality, before turning into a sarcastic joke about his dancing skills.
Pitt praised Clooney’s ability to embody various roles and achieve success in many fields, but quickly shifted to the humorous side of the message, saying: “Please, keep him away from the dance floor,” before concluding his speech by calling him “a very bad dancer.”
The message was not without a more serious note, as Pitt described Clooney as a friend who can be relied upon in tough times, praising his roles as a father and husband, and his presence as a global figure and advocate for justice, alongside describing him with a sense of humor, love for pranks, and commitment to doing good.
This honor comes at a time when speculation is increasing about the possibility of Pitt and Clooney working together again in the fourth installment of the Ocean’s film series, amid anticipation of whether the project will enter production in the coming period.
