كشفت صالة «مساحة وصل الفنية» بجدة ملامح التحول الفني الجديد في مسيرة الأميرة ريم الفيصل، من خلال معرضها الشخصي «أرض الحجيج والشعراء»، الذي يشرع أبوابه حالياً أمام المتذوقين. ويمثل هذا المعرض نقطة فارقة في تجربة الفنانة، حيث تودع فيه «أحادية الأبيض والأسود» التي ميزت مسيرتها الدولية لتبحر لأول مرة في عالم الصور الملونة مجسدةً بهاء الأمكنة وجلالها بإحساس بصري أعمق ينسج خيوط الضوء بين خطى الحجيج وأخيلة الشعراء.
المعرض الذي دشن فعالياته يوم الخميس الماضي (30 أبريل) ويستمر لمدة شهرين يضرب موعداً مع المهتمين في تمام الساعة السادسة من مساء الخميس القادم 7 مايو 2026، لحضور حفل توقيع كتاب الفنانة (States of Light) الصادر عن دار (Skira Editore) بميلانو، وذلك في مقر الصالة. وتأتي هذه التظاهرة لتعكس ثراء تجربة ريم الفيصل، حفيدة الملك الراحل فيصل بن عبدالعزيز -رحمه الله-، التي زاوجت بين دراسة الأدب العربي بجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز وعلوم التصوير الفوتوغرافي في معهد «سبيوس» بباريس، ما صاغ هويتها كمصورة رائدة بلغت أصداء أعمالها كبرى المتاحف العالمية في سيول ورام الله وعمان.
وتستلهم «ريم» في أعمالها لغة فوتوغرافية فريدة تحاور فلسفة الفن الإسلامي وروح الشعر العربي، وهي الرؤية التي وثقت من خلالها رحلاتها الوجدانية في الصين ومصر وإيطاليا وتركيا واليابان، فضلاً عن ريادتها في توثيق رحلة الحج بمنظور ثقافي وديني عميق.
يذكر أن الفنانة أسست «غاليري الربع الخالي» في دبي كأول منصة متخصصة في فن التصوير بالمنطقة، كما حازت على وسام الشرف الوطني الفرنسي (ليجيون دونور) عام 2009 تقديراً لإسهاماتها الفنية الدولية.
The “Wasl Art Space” in Jeddah has revealed the new artistic transformation in the journey of Princess Reem Al Faisal, through her personal exhibition “The Land of Pilgrimage and Poets,” which is currently open to art enthusiasts. This exhibition represents a turning point in the artist’s experience, as she bids farewell to the “monochrome of black and white” that characterized her international career to embark for the first time into the world of colored images, embodying the beauty and grandeur of places with a deeper visual sensitivity that weaves threads of light between the steps of pilgrims and the imaginations of poets.
The exhibition, which launched its activities last Thursday (April 30) and will continue for two months, has a scheduled event for interested attendees at six o’clock in the evening on the upcoming Thursday, May 7, 2026, for the book signing of the artist’s book (States of Light) published by Skira Editore in Milan, to be held at the venue of the gallery. This event reflects the richness of Reem Al Faisal’s experience, the granddaughter of the late King Faisal bin Abdulaziz – may God have mercy on him – who combined the study of Arabic literature at King Abdulaziz University with photography sciences at the Spéos Institute in Paris, shaping her identity as a pioneering photographer whose works resonate in major global museums in Seoul, Ramallah, and Amman.
In her works, “Reem” draws inspiration from a unique photographic language that dialogues with the philosophy of Islamic art and the spirit of Arabic poetry, a vision through which she documented her emotional journeys in China, Egypt, Italy, Turkey, and Japan, in addition to her pioneering role in documenting the pilgrimage journey from a profound cultural and religious perspective.
It is worth noting that the artist established the “Empty Quarter Gallery” in Dubai as the first specialized platform for photography art in the region, and she was awarded the French National Order of Merit (Légion d’Honneur) in 2009 in recognition of her international artistic contributions.
